A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“Nice and comfy hotel. Close enough to walk throughout Cusco for exploring. Rooms were large and had great bathrooms. Everything was very clean, service was great, and the breakfast was tasty.”
“Good breakfast and very friendly staff, they took great care of us and made us feel relaxed. Stored our luggage safely during Inca trail and helped us stay in touch with our agency. The room which we got first was comfy, but the shower spilled water all over the bathroom floor. The second room, after the trail, was really nice, but the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. There was a bathtub, but it didn't work and was covered in ugly yellow stains, so we used shower instead. Both rooms had windows facing the inside, but more in the back of the building, so we didn't have too much trouble with noise. They always turned off the light and music at 10pm sharp.”
“Charming old hotel in wonderful location, easy walk to all around old town. Quiet street. Beds ok. Pillows not great. Water pressure decent. Couldn't get enough hot water to take a bath in the big tub, jets didn't work anyway. Good service.”
“5 stars for the hotel staff, which was incredibly friendly and helpful, genuinely nice people. The location is great, just a short walk away from the centre. The main hall/restaurant has an interesting eclectic look which I loved. The minus points go for the room itself. I found the bed to be quite uncomfortable and I couldn’t sleep well. The water facilities (faucet, water knobs, shower, toilet flush) were very wobbly and made using them a bit complicated.”
“Recommended if you're looking for an elegant, safe hotel just a few minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas. I enjoyed the meal offerings as well, especially the fresh fruit at breakfast (including granadilla) and the fettuccine with huancaína sauce for dinner/lunch.”
“Beautiful old colonial style building. The service was attentive and the room comfortable. It's within walking distance of Plaza de armas. Highly recommended.”
“All-in great hotel. English speaking employees, great rooms, great location, great breakfast, and this all for a great price. We managed to get a room at a great discount though. Might have not paid the full price personally. Also sad that the bath wasn't operational, but even without that, I'd still book the room for the given price any day.”
“Exceptional service, they really go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. Room gets a little noisy in the morning but you can’t beat the price or the service. Breakfast was good also, an omelet, bread, fruit and yogurt. Different choices of coffee and juice. Room service is very affordable and most of the crew has very good English. Everything was clean and the hot water worked fine it just took a little time to warm up. The plaza de armas is about 2 or 3 blocks away, easy going downhill to the square, pace yourself going uphill back to the hotel if you have altitude issues as I did. Another thing the host made sure to give free coca tea whenever needed.”
